So, when I got to the where-I-liveltrain station, it turns out that they cannot accept bills. So, I decide it would be a good time to buy a $32 10-ticket pass. I buy it using my credit card and rush to get on the train. Once on the train (it starts leaving as soon as I sit down), I look through my pocket and find that, although I have my credit card receipt, I do not have the 10-ticket stub! I told the conductor and he said it was OK to stay on the train for that ride and told me to call the 800 number on the back of receipt. Once I arrived in Mountain View, I did and the woman said there's nothing I can do about it. I called where-I-live Caltrain Lost and Found; you just leave a message along with your name, phone number, and the lost article/item. I also bought a replacement 10-ticket pass, careful to put it into my wallet this time. To top it all off, this cost me 15 minutes in arriving late to work. So much for leaving early! First, it was my watch, now a $32 ticket. It seems like I have a hex on me when it comes to Caltrain...
