Howdy from Minnesota!

While this week's sudden cold snap has us half-jokingly rethinking
our decision to move to the midwest, we're thrilled with our new
house and setting.  We have plenty of space to stretch out into now.
The apartment we were in temporarily, while house-hunting, was a bit
cramped, although it felt huge after the 5-day drive from
Ca.  We're excited to settle in and finally unpack ... our
winter clothes.

Just after buying our house we all flew to Italy for two weeks with
friends and family.  I highly recommend Cinque Terre, the Italian
Riviera, where the sea water is as clear as the water from your
faucet.  The second week we explored timeless Venice.  Simon and
Evan loved all the boats and all the gelato.
