Hi Noelle
Spoke to Cindy the other day - I sent a previous email but then my email has
been weird - it will go for a while with no messages and then Lots. Anyway - I
suspect your application may not be on top due to not having a CCS. There is
an expectation by employers that anyone that knows coding would have the CCS -
although you and I both know that an RHIT and experience should be the
same.....
Have you thought about the CCS?
What are your parameters?? East Bay - South Bay??
Wondering about Children's Hospital or Alta Bates?

It's been a while since I saw you (Monterey CHIA convention). I'm still working
for Sourcecorp coding the VA inpatient records.I am getting so bored doing this
job. I haven't found many coder jobs in where-I-live hospitals. I just read a
Dallas Morning News article about coders, they interviewed a coder who works
for Kforce(working at Baylor MC).Does this all mean it's harder to get a job
directly at a hospital?Do you know if SJ hospitals have outsourced their coding?
At Regional Medical Ctr of SJ(formerly Alexian) there is a per diem coding job,
maybe I should apply for that one. Any advice would be appreciated!
thanks
