The code base they have there is enormous and the system large and complex. I doubt that anybody working there will truly understand the whole thing. In any case, I'm struggling to understand my little part. I love the perks -- my laptop is incredibly fast and nice, and they pay for health club membership. The environment is also great -- they emphasize cooperation over competition. The people I work with are cool and nice -- a rarity in the hi-tech biz. The problems they need to solve are quite challenging, so those'll keep me busy. The location is good -- it's near Castro St. in Mountain View. I just hope it all lasts longer than my last position. Too bad you don't do programming. I imagine that you may not want to commute to Mtn View, either? If you do, you could try sending your resume to them, anyway, and see what happens. Send it to http://www.gmail.com/~pamhart . They're QA involves running lots of scripts and some talking (speaking) scripts.
