I'm doing a lot of stuff with Cygwin and Mingw these days.  The higher-ups want
everything to work on both Linux and Windows.

I'm using Qt, but eventually we're going to have to make everything work with a
GUI library that my company has home-built.

Not so much research stuff at this point -- mostly porting and some GUI
development.
