Re: age discrimination. Yes. You might wanna contact someone I met at
Prosearch (do you know about Prosearch, http://www.prosearch.org ?),
Gail at http://profiles.yahoo.com/gail_sx . She's experienced that sort of stuff and may
have stories to relate. She worked at UCOP for a while, too.
Re: Seattle. Given that I attended The Evergreen State College in Olympia
as an undergrad, I know a number of people in Seattle. Most of 'em are
either retired (ex-Microsoft employees) or computer consultants or
computer grunts.
