It's about 1 hour 40 mins to go down there, but it's turning out to be 1:55 back! At least I can read and do stuff on the BART-bus-light rail trip. But spending 3.5 hours a day commuting really eats into my non-work time. One interesting thing is that my work has a lot of holidays per year. So, although I don't get paid on those days (since I'm a temp worker), it does give me a little more free time off. And, in fact, there will be a plant shutdown the week after Christmas, so I get a week off [to catch up on my life]. I'm not sure if the group I'm in will survive in the long run. It does almost pure research and it's not clear if there's a product that the stuff we're working on will fit into. I guess it depends on the X-mas season. Lots of electronics sales == good, fewer == bad. > TTYL, > Gail
