Actually, my job is a temp job, too.  It might end in November, but may go 'til
May.  It may go perm, but that's quite unclear presently.

I'm surprisingly happy working by-the-hour because, when they keep me longer
hours, I get paid for the extra hours.  Back when I was salaried, I got no such
compensation (except a nice pat on the back and, if I was lucky, a bonus).
