For some reason, my browser refused to open

I think it's OK, 'though.
It was funny watching you try to argue logically with that other person.
In any case, the arguments in
http://mailman.lbo-talk.org/pipermail/lbo-talk/Week-of-Mon-20040726/016708.html
brought up a knot in my stomach. I mean, arguing for the regulation of
commerce, including sex toys, seemed wrong to me. I really respect Nathan
Newman's opinions and I could see where he was coming from, but to argue
from a Marxist/socialist perspective that generally increasing the amount
of regulation of commerce is always good, even when it deprives someone
from pleasure, bothers me. It seems like there should be a balance
between these things without having to compromise on morality issues.
Generally, I guess I still am in the ACLU camp, even though there is some
"give" on regulation of commerce. I suppose this means I'd rather have
freedom than equality/justice if I had to make a choice (which itself is a
freedom :-).
