OK. I'm still lookin' for work. I have had a few very small contract
jobs. And I'll be discussing a project for working on an anti-spam
service tomorrow. And I'll be getting an interview on Friday or next week
with a company in Emeryville (http://www.gracenote.com).

The anti-spam project is with a Programmer Coop. I'm hoping this works
out more than any other opportunity 'cause I think this would fit my needs
and I think would be more on-track with my career.

Noelle is still working as a medical records coder here in where-I-live.
Despite her commute being relatively easy, she has a hard time getting out
of bed to go to work. She really dislikes working 40 hours/week. I feel
badly about this since we're mostly dependent upon her income at this
point. (The reverse was true (i.e., we were dependupon upon my income) a
few years ago when I was working.)

Despite all these problems, I'm still glad to be in Ca. Overall,
people are nicer ('though it's still scary riding a bike in where-I-live).
And, we have more friends here (San Francisco Bay Area) than we did in
Boston. So, we have more opportunities to hang out with people (which
Noelle considers important).

I went to a Planned Parenthood Clinic Escort training one week ago in San
Francisco. I'm going to get a medical exam to complete my application.
It's not clear whether I'll actually have an opportunity to escort
clients/patients at a Planned Parenthood, but at least I'll have the
option.

Will you get to see Fahrenheit 9/11, Michael Moore's latest movie coming
out on Friday? We have seen Super Size Me and The Corporation (both
documentaries); they were both good.

How is life at Washington & Lee? Have you been able to meet with Mark
Reimers at all?
