I talked with the guy at the Programmer Coop.  It would be a total change for
me -- I would become an independent contractor-only with this.  It could be
very risky 'cause I'd also have to learn how to market myself.  On the other
hand, the old routine hasn't been working so far, so...

I have one phone screen on Monday (full-time position) and I'm supposed to hear
about the results of my interview from last week today (another full-time
position in (ugh) Cupertino).

You could rent your house out and move to Australia since you'll be going there
next year anyway. :-)
