It probably won't be. The guy saw my resume on craigslist and contacted me.
It's a non-union job; that's why it's part-time and only $20/hour, but it may
go to a full-time union job later.

Yeah. I found out on Bike to Work Day where I volunteered.

I've been getting a surprising number of interviews, but they haven't been
going anywhere. It may be because I send my resume in so early and/or my
resume looks just good enough. But, there's still a lot of competition and,
due to sheer probabilities, I lose out. (I read an article that said that
unemployment for engineers stands at 6.2%.)
Most of the opportunities which I have been getting interviews for are
non-benefits contract work.

It's possible. Certainly, I have never had a response from my Monster resume
(where you only get chronological format for the resume). I've changed to a
functional format for my resume and I still do get responses to my resume,
mostly from the ones posted on craigslist.
