Actually, I might consider a short-term contract, if offered, which would
have the same hours as my father and be in the same area as my father :-).
And, just today, a friend in Boston told me about a position opening up
there programming speech recognition (on Windows, unfortunately). It
would have been a telecommuting position, but I felt I couldn't live up to
the standards because I haven't done serious programming on the Windows
platform.
