I would like to urge you not to close downtown 's (Ca) Post
Office.  The number of post office boxes available for rent in  is
already quite low and reducing the number of boxes would be painful.  In
addition, even if a box were available for rent, the other post office is
nowhere near public transit; the post office located in downtown 
is centrally located near lots of public transit, including BART (train)
and buses.  Closing the downtown  Post Office would be a hardship
for people who cannot afford a car.
