It's still running slowly.
I tried running traceroute, but, with my current Linksys firewall set up,
it will not work:
% traceroute -n news4.sucknews.com
traceroute to corp-news.newsfeeds.com (216.65.98.9), 30 hops max, 38 byte packets
 1 * * *
 2 * * *
 3 * * *
My Linksys firewall/router does not have the ability to traceroute from
there. Setting the machine to be a DMZ host doesn't seem to help, either.
Pinging is the only way to see the round-route time.
In any case, if I'm the only one experiencing this problem, then it's
something at my end which is the problem. I'll trying experimenting.
