There are at least 2 problems with this plan.

1) I was hoping to avoid becoming a landlord, even on a temporary basis.
2) Once she moves out, I'll have to sell the house when interest rates are
   higher and more difficult to get a good price.

I'm going to go to a real estate agent and have her sell my house.  I
think this is the best solution for now.
