Actually, we investigated the crime rate. 's average crime rate is
over 100 incidents per 100,000 people *less* than Boston (140 vs. 255). I
suspect your parents wouldn't live in Boston either :-). I'm not worried
about that at all. I'm more worried about the quality of life (getting
run over by a car while riding my bike, getting quantity amounts of tofu :-),
etc.).
