A couple of other things I didn't tell you when we were on the phone.

1) When Brian and I were driving around there, we saw some housing (town
   houses) for sale.  We got the number and called.  They were going for
   $337,000.  (Actually, I should say "it" since there was only 1 left.)
   Anyway, I think investing in real estate presently is a bad idea, but
   it's something to think about in the future.

2) When Brian and I were driving around there, we saw a "for rent" sign.
   It's at 722 "B" St. in .  The chick (CWP Property Management,
   510-352-6310) said that it wouldn't be available 'til after the 13th.
   I didn't ask further details, but it might be something to think about.
