Dear Editor,

I can hardly believe you would print such a one-sided, biased article!  Ms. Karen Peterson's article implies that if you have children, you can't be in Corporate America.  She quoted that "49% of ultra-achievers are childless".  That means that 51% HAVE children!  Out of all her statistics she all but hides the fact that people who have children in Corporate America ARE THE MAJORITY.  Being childFREE is by no means an epidemic, it is not a horrific trend that is threatening the "Motherhood of America", IT IS NOT A SIN TO BE CHILDFREE IN AMERICA!!!!  Many of us CHOSE not to have children - we didn't "just forget".  Do you want us to have kids and then dump them off at daycare until they're 18 because we chose a career and don't spend the  time on parenthood duties?  Don't assume that just because we can have children, that we WANT THEM.

Yes, the First Amendment does allow free speech; but when a national publication such as your agrees to publish such on-sided articles, it does all of us, parents and non-parents a disservice!
