Pressure cooking can greatly reduce cooking time compared to conventional methods. It also makes it practical to regularly prepare foods such as hard root vegetables and long-cooking legumes. Quick cooking grains which ordinarily take 15 minutes can be done in 2 minutes in a pressure cooker. Learn how to cook a variety of nutritious foods and one-pot meals in this real-time demonstration. Speaker David Lovler enjoys food from the ground up. He is a gardener and grows edible sprouts.
