last Wed. Dining Out event!  Everyone
is invited to join with the 
Boston Vegetarian Society for our 

1st Wednesday Dining Out 

Wednesday, August 1 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The Helmand Cuisine of Afghanistan
143 First Street (corner of Bent St.)
East Cambridge 
(near Cambridgeside Galleria)

*Please RSVP if you plan to come.*  
(No need if you cannot come.)  
The restaurant
needs to prepare for a big group!

Come and meet others in the vegetarian 
community and explore vegetarian Afghani cuisine!

Nice dining atmosphere, meals served with 
freshly baked nan warm from the clay oven 
in the dining room, excellent veg food.  
We had our Valentine's Banquet at Helmand
several years ago, and the crowd rose
in a spontaneous standing ovation when
the chefs were introduced!

DIRECTIONS:

Helmand is one block from the Best Buy 
(formerly Lechmere) corner of the 
Cambridgeside Galleria.  There is a 
Petco opposite Best Buy, then Big John's
Mattress Co, then Helmand, a white building 
on the corner.

BY SUBWAY, take the Green Line to the 
Lechmere stop.  Walk down First Street a few 
blocks to Helmand.

BY CAR, there is a FREE PARKING lot directly
behind the restaurant, driveway on Bent St.
