Nope, no new news.

I understand that Marc did not put a lot into his studies.  He was more
keen on getting his code used in a "real-life" settling than having it be
academically superior.

Not Redhat.  FreeBSD is preferable to Redhat.  But IMHO, Debian is
preferable to FreeBSD.
