Dear CAA member:

The Ca Alumni Association is pleased to announce a new partnership
with Publishing Concepts, LP (www.ealumni.com ). This new service operator
will provide you with new and improved alumni community and directory
services, as well as the continuation of web-based email and email
forwarding services.  News about free upgraded services for CAA members will
be publicized over the next few months.

CAA will be transitioning the email service you are currently using for your
calalum.org web mail address. You may temporarily experience difficulty in
accessing your calalum.org email account within the next 24 to 72 hours, we
apologize for this inconvenience.  The transition should not be apparent to
you in terms of email access or preferences; you will continue to have
access to your calalum.org mailbox and address book.

Please continue to go to http://www.calalum.org to use your web-based email
just as you are accustomed. As we fine-tune the transition from one service
to another, however, we are forced to temporarily interrupt your web based
news "start page" and shopping portal.  We hope to re-introduce this service
in the very near future, and we apologize for the inconvenience this
temporary interruption may cause you.  There are no changes to our email
forwarding service (@alum.calberkeley.org), which continues to be accessible
through CAA's website at http://www.alumni.berkeley.edu.

We'd like to thank you for your continued support and Cal spirit.  In the
months and years to come, CAA will continue to strive to provide you with
the latest and most effective web-based services to stay connected to Cal
and fellow alumni.
