Finally, I got to see Dance Hall Crashers. (Too long enough, huh?) Noelle and I saw them last night here in Boston. They have an excellent stage presence. They said that they were tired and I think they were. Their set was disappointingly short (45 minutes). And they sounded very punk, much more than I remembered, I guess. I'm not sure if they're changing their sound, to try to garner more appeal. Anyway, I bought their album (yes, a real, live album -- white vinyl). It's not too bad. I think it'll be good for parties or whatever, but I don't think it's something I'm going to listen to over and over... Didn't they used to have a horn section? This album doesn't have any. I think it would be improved with a horn section. Anyway...
