It's long over (10am-11am).

It's a book by Philip Morrison & Costas Sipus (sp?) called "Reason Enough
to Hope". They claim that the probability of war is low because of recent
political changes & new attitudes towards nuclear weapons, but also
because the population is not (according to them through UN citations)
projected to be as large in the next century as had been projected earlier
("earlier" sounded like 1972 according to what was said on the radio
program). I.e., 10 billion people is sustainable.

(One of the callers called in saying that he read a book by Julian Simon
and Philip Morrison responded that he too read the book. He didn't
disagree with it. That's enough to tell you where he stands on the
overpopulation problem.)

I hope Paul Ehrlich responds to this nonsense.
