house probs

Unfortunately, I lost my previous mail.  I'll have to recreate it from
scratch.

Here's the probs:

1) The kitchen smells.  And is cold.  It's basically unusable right now.
   (Noelle cannot smell anything unusual.)
2) The hot water comes out.
   (This may be the source of the smell, I'm not sure.)
3) The chimney's unlined.
4) We want natural gas installed (oil heat & electric dryer/stove are
   expensive), so we need #3 dealt with.  (By the way, the roof was
   raised without a permit.  Undoubtedly, the building inspector, when
   I get the chimney lined, will see that there's a second floor that
   wasn't there in 1991.)

There are other lots of things, so I plan to deal with them myself or
hire a professional.  The above are the most important things that I cannot
figure out how to fix myself.
