Kimber" <http://www.juno.com/~ekimber> The Boston Vegetarian Society invites you to attend our 3rd Sunday Seminar and Social Dinner Sunday, May 19, 2002 at 4 p.m. A FREE Lecture -- All Welcome "Earth Medicine: Ancient Healing Ways for Modern Sick Days" Speaker Byron Jordon is a holistic healer in the Cherokee Bear Medicine tradition, with training in both modern and indigenous science. He practices a modern version of an ancient (36,000 year old) traditional Native American Medicine Way. He describes it as vegan, very simple, and extremely effective. His formal training in biochemistry, nutrition, and microbiology has provided him the ability to walk and talk in both worlds of modern and indigenous science. In addition to practicing and writing about Bear Medicine, Byron teaches courses in Earth Medicine and traditional Orende Energy Healing at his little "Medicine Lodge" in Cambridge, MA. He is currently teaching in Arlington, MA each Saturday through June 29 on "The Power to Heal". These classes compare the Sacred Healing Traditions of the Kabbalah with ancient Cherokee Bear Medicine, and highlight their uncanny similarity. 4 p.m. - FREE SEMINAR -- ALL WELCOME ** If you can help set up the room for our seminar, please arrive 25 minutes early!
