Dear Robert, Sir, I have done some research on your Gigafast 720-AEX PCMCIA card and I have found out that the card only supports 64 bit encryption. That was one reason why it never works with 128 bit encryption with the Wireless router. All the specs of the card is compatible with the Wireless specs of the router and there's no technicalities that would result to incompatibility with the two. The problem arise on the card coz it only supports 64 bit encryption security. We have Linksys wireless cards that works with BEFW11S4 and it is called WPC11 that supports 64 and 128 bit encryption. Please visit attached link for more information of the WPC11 card. http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?prid=156&grid=19 Gigafast 720-AEX PCMCIA card SPECS: Wireless Standard IEEE802.11b Wired Standard TCIP/IP, IPX, NDIS4 Data Rate 1, 2, 5.5 and 11Mbps with Automatic Scale Back Operating Range (approx.) I did notice that there is a new pulldown specifying the width of the encryption. As it turns out, I was already using 64 bit, so this should not matter. I've heard very little in response for my PCMCIA card's technical support. The problem may be the card. Do you know if anyone else has this kind of card (Gigafast)? If not, is there a list of PCMCIA cards that are compatible with this Linksys router? > Warmest Regards, > Domelyn R.
