Sorry, it is several weeks since I have used DragonDictate on the Windows 2000 portable, so I am struggling to remember all the problems (also blood pressure tablets are making may tired-good excuse!). The main problem, for me, is that no mouse dragging commands work on a Visual Basic form (works with Naturally Speaking). Sometimes when the mouse is moving, there is a delay in any further mouse commands, meanwhile the mouse keeps moving! At least it is sometimes, on Windows NT it was virtually all the time. No menu tracking on the Start Menu. If a voice macro has errors, the usual dialogue box appears, if you request further details, Dragon crashes. Alternatively, whenever DragonDictate generated crashes on Windows 95, it was unusable, on Windows 2000, Dragon has remained usable after crashes! However, I do not recommend this, since I always restore my voice files after any Dragon or visual basic crash and have therefore dramatically reduced unexplained Dragon crashes. --- robert <http://dummy.us.eu.org/robert> wrote: > > From: http://www.yahoo.co.uk/~DavidHolden_uk > > Date: Tue, 05 Jun 2001 08:27:39 -0000 > > > > After saying all this I am still successfully > fully employed as a > > software engineer using the ancient package > DragonDictate for > > Windows.
