FYI, I fixed. Apparently, Ascend Terminal Servers use pure PAP authentication, not the "login/password" script. The key was to make the chat script look like this: 'ABORT' 'BUSY' 'ABORT' 'ERROR' 'ABORT' 'NO CARRIER' 'ABORT' 'NO DIALTONE' 'ABORT' 'Invalid Login' 'ABORT' 'Login incorrect' TIMEOUT 5 OK-AT-OK 'ATDTW16178125765' TIMEOUT 45 'CONNECT' '\c' I.e., no 'ogin:' or 'assword:' stuff. In case anyone else asks. > From: T3 Internet Services <http://www.t-3.cc/~admin> > Date: Sat, 12 May 2001 20:06:09 -0600 > > Sorry, but we can not offer any support for Linux.
