I saw some new external keyboards in a catalog I got from Fujitsu and thought I'd pass it on. They're supposed to connect to their laptops (Lifebooks) but should work with any computer, I would think. I've got a Lifebook (c-352) that has the best keyboard I've used. Good feeling for fast touch typing and it has a rocker switch on the wrist rest instead of a touch pad or eraser-head type stick. The external keyboard has a built-in mouse. It uses the rocker switch (Ergotrack) next to the enter key with the mouse buttons above the arrow keys. They also have a little portable mouse with the rocker switch on it that may be helpful to some. Since there are so many different kinds of RSI, these items may be helpful to some and awful to others. Thought I'd pass them along. http://fpcdirect.fujitsu-pc.com/v2.0-img/operations/fpc/desc/index2.html Fujitsu also makes a mini notebook with a touch screen instead of a mouse that I've heard good things about. (Not trying to sell Fujitsu computers, but I know how tough it is to find something you can use that doesn't hurt.) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorehand FAQ: http://www.ucsf.edu/sorehand/ To CANCEL your subscription, send post to: http://www.ITSSRV1.UCSF.EDU/~LISTSERV text: SIGNOFF SOREHAND
