Dear Robert,

It means you might have to. I just happened to have the ALS100 as a spare
card. The quality of this card is untfortunately inferior to the genuine
SoundBlaster card. But it does work. Do not ask me why. I presume there is
a bug in the programming.

I remember seeing some remarks about this problem on the RealAudio
website, I do not remember exactly where.
