We've come to a bad point in history when imprisoned police officers
receive special treatment in the nation's correctional facilities and are
therefore not treated equally under the law. Ex-police officers are not
the only targeted minority in prisons -- there are many minorities who get
treated very poorly in prison, not just ex-police officers.
