Hi Robert...
The patterns group has gone through a couple of incarnations. We started
out meeting casually and chatting over dinner. This didn't work well for
everyone. After a long hiatus the group started meeting again early this
year in Davis Square. The web site PatternsStudy.com has some info on what
the group is doing.

The current group isn't just software people. There is some interest in
getting a group together to focus exclusively on software patterns.

Alas, I can't organize commit to being able to organize it (I was
conference chair at PLoP 99 last year, had a couple of other patterns
projects going, etc...) Check out patternsstudy.com and see if that focus
works for you. We can also form a splinter group that meets at the same
time and has a slightly different focus.
