RE: judicary committee meeting on (so-called) "Partial-Birth Abortions"

Robert -
We have had a low-key strategy on this bill this year.
It was our hope that it would again be put into study.
Our volunteers' resources are precious and we want to make sure that when we
ask for your support, it is at an advantageous time.

Mass NARAL has 2 priority bills (Contraceptives Coverage and Buffer Zone)
and were putting much of our staff/volunteer resources into lobbying on
these bills in targeted districts. We have an upcoming Lobby Day on Wed,
June 23rd where we hope our volunteers will urge their legislators to pass
the Buffer Zone Bill.

I hear your frustration re our lack of mobilization behind the so-called
"Partial Birth Abortion" Bill and I hope to have addressed our strategy re
this bill and others that are still in committee right now.

Let's keep in touch and we will need your help shortly!

For choice,

Mara Sands

Subject: judicary committee meeting on (so-called) "Partial-Birth
Abortions"

Hi. I read about the Ma Judicary Committee meeting on banning
"Partial-Birth Abortions". How come I didn't hear about this from Mass
NARAL?
Am I on the action-alert e-mailing list?

Also, I saw an anti-choice protester at the Park St. T station during my
commute. Is this normal? Or was this because of the above meeting?

Thanks.
