installation of my first natural gas appliance

On Wednesday, I'll be having my first natural gas appliance (a stove) installed
by a heating contractor.  The web page says:

  If you have an inactive gas service
      line to your home:
  
      $600 rebate with the installation of
         any natural gas appliance.

Do I only get such a rebate if Boston Gas itself installs the appliance?
