I think this: The Free Software Foundation has had the problem that their leader, Richard M. Stallman (commonly known as ``RMS'') appear to think that they ought to have control over the entire body of free/GPL (GNU Public License) software. Ignoring the consideration that others may not want to be so controlled, they simply don't have enough staff to manage all of the projects that are active. is rather unfair. I cannot believe that Richard Stallman nor FSF want to control the entire body of GPL'd software. Instead, I think they have some software that they do happen to "control" (in so far that one can control public domain software in the form of the GNU Public License) and mainly ignore the rest. Is there a quote that you saw from Richard Stallman that particularly lead you to the above conclusion? P.S. BTW, your Linux pages are great in that they are very extensive.
