The Usenix key signing service was unable to sign the key you
submitted for the reason stated in the subject of this message.
Because the processing is automated, the error diagnosis above
may not be exactly correct. However, all submissions are
reviewed by a human before rejection, so that whatever was wrong
was sufficient for us to decide to reject the submission.

It is also possible that a message you sent enquiring about your
signed key was included in the batch to be signed, rather than
being handled separately. If so, we apologize for the confusion.
Such messages WILL be separated out and answered - please DO NOT
submit them again.

Signature processing is handled via a set of scripts, and
in particular, these do not handle mime-encoded enclosures such
as appledouble, base64, binhex or octet-streams. They also fail on
messages which were not encrypted using the "text mode" (-t)
option for PGP. 

Usenix will only sign keys for members who have been physically
present and identified themselves at one of the designated conferences
At that conference you should have filled out and signed our form and
turned it in there.

Your submission to us must contain the keyword and secret
given to you personally at the conference, not the sample keyword
(exon) and secret from the instructions! Your submission  must have
been encrypted using the Usenix mail key (http://www.usenix.org/~pgp), not the
signing key (http://www.usenix.org/pgpsig.html).
