I never tried. I think it would be cool since the reason I started using
Linux was that I could install it using UMSDOS (slackware had umsdos
installs back then, I don't know if they still do). UMSDOS allows you to
have a taste of Linux while not having to repartition or waste a lot of
space in a large loop-mounted file (even if it wastes a lot on small
files due to limitations of FAT).
